Happy New Year!

Keep your body moving. Winter PT sessions every Sunday at 8:30am at the club house.  Instructor, Paul Berube will host a one hour session for $10 per person. He will explore strength and conditioning techniques for rowers. No appointment or registration necessary.

The Department of Health has issued restrictions on Lake Quinsigamond for the immediate future.

As such the following restrictions have been implemented:
No motor boat wakes
No rowing south of Rt 9

The QRA has futher offered the following notification to members and local coaches:
No novice rowing
No small boat rowing

Lights! -  All boats should have a red/green bow light and a white stern light.  Lights should be used from sunrise up until 30 minutes after the sun in up, and at sunset a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the sun going down.  Lights should be used in the rain and fog as well.  YOU CANNOT LAUNCH IN THE DARK WITHOUT LIGHTS!!  It's just too unsafe. The QRA does not supply lights for club boats anymore.  Members should buy their own lights

These are a popular choice, with the red/green fitting into the bow clip and the white in the stern (without a stern clip you’d need to prop the light in the hull)
